Today, I received my “Ben For Best Job business cards”. I now need to share them!

I will be talking about my experience of The Best Job in The World during ad:tech Paris (The Event for Digital Marketing!) on Tuesday April 7, 06:00PM. Click here for More details about the session.

I really want to thank you all. Even if the competition is not finished yet, your votes and support put me in the 5th place in votes (out of 50 candidates!) and this is quite an achievement. I especially want to thank , my family, my girlfriend Maud, my friends, my coworkers, my volleyball club, Ecully’s bridge and Beaujolais golf clubs, and last but not least, all my Facebook fans!

Clare from Taïwan won the Wild Card with some 150,000 votes! Wow! She is the first candidate selected to go to Hamilton Island for the final selection. However, 10 other (within the 50) candidates will be chosen by Tourism Queensland on April 2. I’m crossing fingers, even if luck has not much influence!! Then, the 11 candidates will meet on Hamilton Island during 2+ days to take interviews and group activities. Results will be announced on May 6.

To give you an idea on how strong your support was, here are some key figures:

• 48 249 absolute unique visitors on my blog (100 000+ page displays!)

Australia has set up world’s first ECO Certification. This certification proves that the accomodations, attractions and tours are using the best practice standards in ecological sustainability, natural area management and customer satisfaction.

Ecotourism and Nature Tourism are quite similar, but ecotourism underlines the understanding, appreciation and conservation of natural areas.

You can easily identify an eco-certified operator with one of these logos.

Yesterday evening, my girlfriend and I went to the swimming pool to try diving! I now know the basic rules of diving! Great Barrier Reef, here I come! Check out our photos (Thanks to the club Thalassa and its members, especially Gauthier, for their kindness!)

Today, I want to share some photos with you. These ones especially because I reallly like the colors I caught.  I started photography one year ago and I’m trying to improve my skills before buying new lenses. I might come back with new photos soon!
