During the show, the team gave me a great gift : the OL official jersey tagged “Ben For Best Job”!!
Soon, I’ll be on national TV: France 3, M6, Disneynature, France 24… And on D-Day, I’ll be interviewed by M.O Fogiel on Europe 1 in Lyon.
Yesterday, I made a presentation to Ad:Tech Paris, the Digital Marketing Event. Ad:Tech is an international event for internet marketing professionals. I wanted to share with you my presentation (you can even download the PDF here). Ad:Tech contacted me to present my campaign for the Best Job in The World. Sorry the slides are in french, but you’ll understand :). There was a lot of interest from the audience.
What a wonderful night: last night, I have been selected in the final Top 16 for the Best Job!
Here is the sequence of events:
8:30 pm: Begining of my Australian Party at home, with some friends.
10:30 pm: Arrival of medias in my little flat!
11:00 pm: TF1, M6 (the two main TV channels in France), Radio Espace, RTL and Libération were waiting for the announcement (I was waiting too!). Phone call expected between midnight and 01:00 am.
00:32 am: Phone call from Peter Lawlor, Queensland Minister for Tourism and Fair trading: “Congratulations Ben! You are in the Top 16”
Next step: flying to Australia early May!
Today has been full of medias interviews (more than 20 interviews)!!
Update: Top 11 will now be Top 16 They decided to extend the short list from 10 to 15 - plus the Wild Card winner Clare.
What a suspense. Will I be part of the top 16?
At this time, I think TQ has already chosen the 15 finalists. Rather than just wait for a good or a bad news, I wanted to share this unique moment with some friends and media tonight at home. Let’s celebrate this adventure together: party night!
